Pipeline

Keep follow-ups from going cold

Algos CRM blog

A lead is only useful if someone owns the next step. Turn that step into a task with a priority and a due date.

The board shows the deal. The task shows the work.

Moving a lead from new to contacted is the visible part. The part that gets missed is the next call, the proposal, or the check-in that was promised for Thursday. Algos CRM keeps both: the pipeline board, and a task for the person who owns the follow-up.

Give every follow-up a state

Pending, in progress, or done is enough. Add a priority and a due date so the dashboard can surface what is waiting and what is already late. The owner stays on the task, the same way the owner stays on the deal.

Let notifications catch the quiet ones

A follow-up goes cold when nobody is looking at that record. Notifications exist so the due date reaches the person before the lead does. Search still finds the account if you need it by name.
